| Music composer G V Prakash gets married to playback singer Sainthavi Posted: 28 Jun 2013 03:23 AM PDT  The marriage between Music composer G V Prakash and playback singer Sainthavi took place yesterday in Chennai. Members from the film industry came in large numbers and wished the couple. G V Prakash Kumar is the son of A R Reihana who is the sister of Oscar Award winning music composer A R Rahman. G V Prakash is also a music composer. He and playback singer Sainthavi are childhood friends. Both of them have sung songs for films. At that point of time, romance blossomed between the two. Family members of G V Prakash and Sainthavi had given the green signal for their marriage. After this, Sainthavi was betrothed to G V Prakash. The marriage took place yesterday morning at Mayor Ramanathan Chettiar Mandapam. The reception was held yesterday evening at the same venue. Directors Balu Mahendra, Manirathnam, Bala, K Bagyaraj, Rajeev Menon, A L Vijay, actors Surya, Shanthanu, Suhasini, Poornima, Dhanshika, music composer Deva, playback singers L R Eswari and Nithyasree Mahadevan participated in the marriage function and blessed the couple. This time, he is going to don the lead role. Sundar C has given many hit films. The first film he had directed was Murai Maaman. He had donned a small role in this film and also in the film Arunachalam. Later on he concentrated in directing the films. Since he had the thirst for acting, he donned the lead role in the film Thalai Nagaram. He continued to don lead roles in 11 films including Veerappu, Perumal and Murattu Kaalai. All of a sudden, he lost interest in acting and started directing films. He directed the super hit films Kalakalappu and Theeya Velai Seiyanum Kumaru. Since this film was not a great success as expected, she took refuge in Telugu film industry. Singam 2 has been produced S Lakshman Kumar under the banner Prince Pictures. The film was sent to Censor Board for certification. Members who saw this film cleared it with a U certificate without any cuts. Singam 2 is being released worldwide on 5th of July in 2400 theatres. This is the first time that Surya's film is being released in so many theatres. In Tamil Nadu alone it is being released in 600 theatres. |
