Gautham Menon has planned to cast 12 leading actors in Dhuruva Natchathiram. Selection for the heroine is going on. It is learnt that Trisha and Amala Paul are topping the list. Maybe both of them might be selected for the heroine roles.
Surya had earlier acted in the films Kaaka Kaaka and Vaaranam Aayiram directed by Gautham Menon. So far no cinematographer has been signed for this film. Surya is compelling Gautham to sign Marc Koninckx who had handled the camera for Dhanush starrer Mariyaan. Marc Koninckx had received Rs 2 Crores as remuneration for handling the camera in Mariyaan and because of this Gautham is a bit hesitant to sign him. |

Isha Talwar who had acted in the Malayalam film Thattathin Marayathu is pairing with Shiva. Others in the cast are Prakash Raj, Kovai Sarala, Ilavarasu, Sathyan and Soori. Santhanam is making a special appearance in this film.
Director Badri who was earlier an assistant to Sundar C has directed this film. Badri had earlier penned the dialogues for the film Kalakalappu which had Shiva and Vimal in the cast. Sundar C had directed this film. Legendary music composer M S Vishwanathan who had composed music for Rajini starrer Thillu Mullu has also composed music for the remake Thillu Mullu. To give a peppy look for the songs, he had joined hands with Yuvan Shankar Raja in this film. S Madhan has produced this film under the banner Vendhar Movies. He is also releasing this laughing riot film. This film has been certified with a U certificate. Badri has changed lots of things that were there in the original Thillu Mullu. The original version had Thengai Srinivasan in the cast. Now Prakash Raj is donning that role. He is donning the role of Managing Director of Classic Mineral Water Company. Prakash Raj is a 100% truthful and honest person. Shiva dons the role of 100% fraudster. How he cheats Prakash Raj is the screenplay of this Thillu Mullu. In the original version there was football matches. This has been changed to IPL match. Similarly there will be music master in the original version. This has been changed to Karate master. Moustache was given importance in the original version but in the remake version it will be green eyes. The audio CD of Thillu Mullu was released in Victoria Hall in Geneva. The song Thillu Mullu and Raagangal Pathinaru which featured in the original version is retained in the remake version. The Rajini starrer Thillu Mullu is the remake of the Hindi film Golmaal. Thillu Mullu which has the combination of Prakash Raj and Shiva will hit the screens on 14th June. |
