Cinema News From Tamilomovie.com Gallery - Director Manivannan Passes Away - NEW He was aged 59 years. Manivannan has so far directed 50 films including Gopurangal Saivadhillai, 24 Mani Neram, Nooravathu Naal, Palaivana Rojakkal, Jallikattu, Chinna Thambi Periya Thambi, Pudhu Manithan and Amaidhi Padai. Many of the leading directors including Vikraman, R K Selvamani, Sundar C and Seeman were his protégés. Apart from directing films, he had donned character roles in more than 400 films. He passed away at 11 a m today due to cardiac arrest in his residence located in Nesapakkam, Chennai. All the members of the Tamil film industry are paying their final tribute. The funeral rites will take place tomorrow. |

This film is being directed by' Siruthai' Siva. Ajith will be wearing a white shirt and dhoti throughout this film. Tamannaah, Vidharth and Mahat are donning important roles. The first schedule of shooting took place in Hyderabad. Now the second schedule shooting of this film is taking place in Rajahmundry. After completing this schedule Ajith and Tamannaah will leave for Europe. Two song sequences are to be shot there. Devi Sriprasad is composing the music for this film. The opening song will be first of its kind. The title of the film which has the combo of Ajith and Vishnuvardhan is yet to be titled. Ajith has requested not to disclose the name of the title. Now the film which Siruthai Siva is directing has been titled Vinayagam Brothers. |

This can be seen in his films Sethu, Nandha, Pithamagan, Naan Kadavul, Avan Ivan and the recently released Paradesi. There were some wild guesses about Bala's next project after Paradesi. There was news that Bala might direct Vikram or Vishal. Now it has been confirmed that Sasikumar will share the screen with Atharvaa. After the release of Paradesi, there are lots of expectations about Atharvaa. Bala has taken a special interest on Atharvaa now because he should not fall in the hands of wrong people. Bala is listening to all the stories of Atharvaa films. Though Atharvaa has got lots of offers after Paradesi, Bala has selected only two stories. The film has been titled Peranbu Konda Periyorgale. This film is supposed to be a political satire. Mruthiga will be pairing with Ameer in Peranbu Konda Periyorgale. She had earlier donned the female lead role in the film titled 555. The shooting of this film will be commencing soon in Madurai. Ameer who is the president of the FEFSI did not contest in the recently held Directors Association elections because he is fully going to concentrate in films. |
