There is a great expectation for the First Look and trailer of this film but it is understood that this will not materialize in near future. Vikram was seen very lean in the functions he attended. Udhayanidhi Stalin is donning the lead role in Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal. He will also be donning the lead role in another film. The work connected with this film is going on in top gear. Udhayanidhi Stalin will be producing this film under the banner Red Giant Movies. Jagdish who was earlier an assistant to director Rajesh will be directing this film. He is currently working as assistant in the film All In All Azhagu Raja directed by Rajesh. After completing All In All Azhagu Raja will commence the work connected with the new film which will have Udhayanidhi Stalin in the lead role. Santhanam has also been signed for an important role in this film. Talks are being held with the leading actresses for the heroine role. This film has been titled Nanbenda. Udhayanidhi Stalin will also be producing another film which is to be directed by S R Prabhakaran. S R Prabhakaran is currently directing Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal. |

Dhanush had acted in the action films titled Sullan and Vengai. Both these films were utter flops but now he has decided to act in an action film. Director K V Anand has readied an action story for Vijay. Since Vijay's call sheet was not available, K V Anand readied another story. It is confirmed that Dhanush and K V Anand will be joining hands. So K V Anand has narrated the story to Dhanush which he had readied for Vijay. K V Anand also changed the action blocks to suit Dhanush. But Dhanush has mentioned not to change the action blocks. Now K V Anand is very in the pre-production works of this film. There is another special thing about this film, AGS who is producing this film has obtained 150 days continuous call sheet from Dhanush and has also paid double salary to him. |
| Will Dhuruva Natchathiram be dropped? Posted: 04 Jul 2013 02:11 AM PDT  The shooting of the film Dhuruva Natchathiram which has the combination of Surya and Gautham Menon was supposed to commence soon but now there is news in Kollywood that this film might be shelved. Dhuruva Natchathiram is a film which has Surya, Parthiban and Simran in the cast. A R Rahman was supposed to compose the music. Gautham Menon also came forward to produce Dhuruva Natchathiram under the banner Photon Kathaas. Right from the beginning, there were some kinds of problems or other. It was earlier mentioned that Trisha will be the heroine of this film. After a couple of days, it was mentioned that the heroine could be either Thulasi or Amala Paul or Samantha but none of the mentioned heroines have mentioned that they are acting in Dhuruva Natchathiram. Apart from this Surya has also not mentioned that when the shooting of Dhuruva Natchathiram will commence. Gautam Menon has mentioned, "Stop writing about me. Unnecessary rumors are unwarranted. I have lots of works. Very soon Surya and I will give a good film." Because of this announcement, it can clearly be seen that Dhuruva Natchathiram has been dropped. On the other hands, the works connected with the film which has the combination of Surya and Lingusamy are going on in top gear. Lingusamy has completed the screenplay is waiting for Surya. Normally directors who direct mass heroes will direct big heroes in their next films. It was expected that AL Vijay who have directed film which had Vijay, Ajith, Arya and Vikram will direct Kamal or Rajnikanth.
